This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of strength and conditioning and the benefits it offers to all clients. From the athlete looking to improve performance/reduce injury risk to seniors wanting to improve function (ADLs) or the client looking to lose weight and or improve health factors, strength training has benefits for all! Learn how to develop programs that maximize benefits and minimize risks.
Emphasis is placed on the exercise sciences (including anatomy, exercise physiology and biomechanics) nutrition, exercise technique, training adaptations, program design, and testing and evaluation.
