Nora Anderson M.S. was AAAI/ISMA’s founder. She has a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Recreation Therapy from Temple University. Her passion was teaching Yoga, Stress Reduction, and Meditation. We at AAAI/ISMA will miss Nora dearly. We promise to honor and cherish her memory and to continue her mission.
Dylan Hardy is the President of AAAI/ISMA. He has an extensive marketing and communications background from a career of over 20 years as the Creative Services Director for an ABC/NBC affiliate TV station in Colorado. Dylan is an avid photographer and enjoys time with his wife and children (including the four-legged ones.)
Tami Berry M.D. is a physician that is specializing in holistic health, healing, recovery, stress management & well being. She believes that when you nourish your mind, body & soul, you flourish.
Todd Bezilla M. Ed. D.O. has a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology & is an Osteopathic Physician whose specialty is personal training. His insights into whole body training are world renown.
Joe Cannon M.S. has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, a BS in Chemistry & Biology & is the author of several books. He has been teaching for the AAAI/ISMA fitness family for over 10 years.
Jason Cardinali M.S. has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, a BS in Chemistry & Biology & is the author of several books. He has been teaching for the AAAI/ISMA fitness family for over 10 years.
Yvonne Cook Rose M.S. has a Masters degree in Sport Psychology and over 20 years of Health, Physical Education, Theory and Methods teaching experience.
Robin Crespo M.S. has a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and her specialty is Kickboxing and Strength Training.
John DeMinico is a nationally renown instructor of Hatha & Power Yoga.
Susie Green M.S. has a Masters degree in Human Performance & Sport Studies from the University of Tennessee. Her expertise is in training fitness professionals worldwide.
Ian Heim is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Alliance Instructor & a AAAI/ISMA Certified Stress Reduction Relaxation & Meditation Instructor. His passion is guiding others on the path to self-realization and meditation.
Nani Hilbert M.S. has a Master’s Degrees in both Education and Sports Nutrition and has been a faculty trainer for 10 years. She currently serves as the Southeast Regional Representative for Training and Education. She has been teaching fitness and wellness in both the university and public settings for 30 years. She is a master trainer in all forms of group exercise and personal training.
April James has been teaching certifications for AAAI/ISMA for over 20 years and was recently inducted into the College of NJ Health and Fitness department “Hall of Fame” for accomplishments in the field. A certified Exercise Physiologist and former bodybuilder competitor, she has earned the titles of “Ms Natural America” and “Ms Natural NJ”. Her specialty is strength training.
Marlene Jenkins M.S. :Marlene Jenkins, M.S. has been a faculty trainer and educational professional certifying instructors for over 25 years. She is a master trainer in all forms of group exercise including Primary Aerobic, Step, Cycling, Aqua, Older Adult, Kids and Teen, Pilates and Total Body Conditioning. Marlene is a national bodybuilding judge for the Natural Muscle Association and an adjunct professor specializing in Sports Management, Leadership for Fitness Professionals, Strength and Personal Fitness Training.
Dr. Don Johnson has a degree in Chiropractic Medicine. His specialties are the AAAI/ISMA Phase 1 and Phase 2 Personal Training Certifications
Laura Johnson Ph.D. has a Ph.D. in Psychology. She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga teacher and is a psychologist for the military where she implements complimentary treatment modalities like yoga and meditation to our nation’s heroes.
Kat Kolaski M.D. is a rehabilitation physician in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her creative approach to teaching anatomy & physiology is combined with her practical experience.
Kris Kory LMT has been instructing for over 30 years and is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a former professional dancer. He is the owner of “Korlates Fitness”.
Richard Levandowski M.D. is the former Director of Athletic Medicine at Princeton University. He was the Team Physician for the U.S. Track & Field Team’s World Championships. Dr. Lev was the Head Physician for the Special Olympic’s USA Games. He currently practices Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Medicine & Rehabilitation in the Princeton, NJ area.
Darrell Lockett M.S. has of Masters of Arts in Teaching Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from the University of West Alabama.
Pat Mediate M.A. is the State of Connecticut Intermediate Administrator and Supervisor. He has his M.A. in Educational Leadership.
Deanna McLaughlin M.S. : is a nationally renown instructor of Hatha & Power Yoga. She has a Masters degree in Exercise Science.
Jennifer Miller has been a national fitness presenter. She teaches the AAAI/ISMA Primary Aerobic / Group Fitness; Yoga; Stress Reduction, Relaxation and Meditation and Total Body Strength Training Certifications. She is also the southeast coordinator of certifications and has helped thousands of new fitness and yoga teachers get their start in the fitness industry.
Kevin Mills M.S. has his Masters of Science in Health and Physical Education. He holds certifications as a Personal Trainer, Aquatic Exercise Instructor, Kickboxing, Spinning and Pilates Instructor.
Mike Rickett M.S. : has a masters degree in Exercise Physiology and a B.S. in Psychology. He is the President of Innovative Fitness and has competed nationally as an aerobic competitor.
Stephen Sefchick M.S. has a Masters of Science Administration and has worked as a Cardiologist Assistant and Exercise Physiologist at the Central Intelligence Agency.
Joanne Smith-Tavener, M.Ed, CSCS*D served as the Wellness Coordinator for the New Jersey State Police. She currently serves as an adjunct professor for The College of New Jersey where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degrees in Health and Exercise Science. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickenson University. Joanne teaches numerous certifications for AAAI/ISMA including Primary Aerobic/Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Fitness Trainer, Older Adult Fitness, Strength Training and Conditioning, as well as many others.
San Thompson M.S.has a Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science. She is the Owner of Studio Vive, LLC Dance Fitness Center in Maylene, Alabama. She is a retired War Veteran who served in the United States Army for over 20 years as a Military Officer and Master Fitness Trainer. San is a Breast Cancer Survivor with 13 years in remission from the disease. She established Studio Vive, LLC after her recovery to provide additional health and fitness opportunities for women who are vulnerable to and more at-risk for health-related illnesses/concerns within her community and surrounding areas. San teaches numerous certifications for AAAI/ISMA including the Primary Aerobic/Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Fitness Trainer, Older Adult Fitness Trainer, Strength and Weight Training, as well as many others.
Jason Townsend M.S. has a Masters of Science in Sport Administration from Mississippi State University. He has taught at Temple University and Mississippi State University.
Anne Wilkinson Ph.D. : has a masters degree in Sports Management and a Ph.D. (ABD) in Kinesiology-Sport and Exercise Psychology. She is an adjunct professor at Temple University.
Tammy Zee M.S. has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology.
